Editorial team & review process

How the articles on this site are written, edited, and reviewed.

Who produces this content

Articles on this site are produced by the SBZ Real Estate Editorial Team and edited by Carter Voss, who edits real estate and housing-market coverage for SBZ Real Estate. Every article is reviewed by the SBZ Real Estate team before publication.

Our credentials

SBZ Real Estate is a California real estate brokerage operating under DRE #02189139. Our affiliated companies hold the licenses relevant to their work: Fast Financial (mortgage brokerage) operates under NMLS #2226871, and SBZ Tax & Accounting is a CTEC-registered tax practice.

How articles are reviewed

  • Sourcing. Market figures, disclosure requirements, and transaction rules are checked against primary sources such as the California Department of Real Estate, county recorders, and C.A.R. forms. We do not publish statistics we cannot trace to a source.
  • Fact review. Every draft goes through a verification pass covering figures, dates, local geography, and claims about credentials before it reaches an editor.
  • Team review. No article about buying, selling, or financing a home is published without review by the SBZ Real Estate team.
  • Corrections and updates. Articles carry an updated date. When rules or market conditions change, we revise the article rather than leaving outdated guidance in place. If you spot an error, tell us and we will correct it.

Fair housing

SBZ Real Estate supports equal housing opportunity. Our articles describe homes, financing, and market conditions, never the people who live in a community. We do not publish guidance that steers buyers toward or away from any area based on race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, national origin, or any other protected characteristic.

What our articles are not

Everything published here is general educational information, not real estate, legal, tax, or financial advice for your situation, and reading it does not create an agency relationship. Market conditions and rules change and apply differently to different transactions. Talk to a licensed professional about your specific circumstances before acting.
